A Michigan man traveled to a remote cabin in Tennessee with some friends to celebrate his bachelor party, when he got a surprise from a mama pooch looking to steal some grub.Mitchell Craddock, the groom, and his seven groomsmen spotted the dog waiting patiently in front of the door when they were cooking.

She was super friendly, but they noticed that she looked extremely malnourished. They started feeding her and giving her water, and pretty soon, she started producing milk.They had noticed that she continued to sit near one spot in particular outside, so they went over to investigate. To their amazement, the party found seven puppies hidden in a hole.

Craddock told ABC News:
We set each pup individually down in front of her, and she nuzzled their faces, and she checked out the pups, and to the person holding them, she gave the look of ‘It’s OK, I trust you.'
Her babies were covered in dirt and fleas, but she had made sure that they were otherwise well taken care of:
Every single one had a big fat belly on them. The mom had given the pups literally everything she had.

After they were washed and fed, each of the dogs were adopted by one of the groomsmen or the groom. The siblings will still be able to visit each other- and mom- because all the men live within a five mile radius.

While it was definitely not the bachelor party they had expected, it was a pleasant twist in their plans, and even better, eight homeless pups got new loving families.
