Two Heroic Police Officers Rush To Save A "Dead" Pup Hanging From A Car Window

This is one very lucky dog.

On July 16, two police officers from Arkansas, Kansas, saved the life of a pup who had somehow managed to hang himself by his leash.

Sergeant Jason Legleite and Officer Wade Hammond were called out to catch a thief in a shop in a shopping mall, when they were informed that a dog was "being hanged by his leash" just a few feet away in the parking lot.

The two policemen didn't wait a second before rushing to the rescue. And when they arrived, they found a motionless animal hanging from the window of a car.

They cut him from the leash, convinced that it was tragically too late.

The little pup lay on the floor, not moving and showing no signs of life. One of the policemen took off his collar and carefully tried to revive him...

And miracle of miracles, after a few seconds the dog came to!

Just a few minutes later and the dog was already standing and proving to his two saviours what an affectionate pup he was. He had really earned the good dose of cuddles they gave him, as well as the water!

The police department made sure to congratulate the two officers on their Facebook page and have indicated that an inquiry into the dog's owners is underway.
