On October 1, French animal rescue group Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis saved a 1-year-old Husky who'd been locked on a balcony for 3 months. The young dog, regularly beaten by his 'owners', was living in a thick layer of his own urine and feces in the tiny space. In videos filmed by a concerned neighbor, a man repeatedly hits the poor canine with a stick. The Husky, called Bihgo, was extremely traumatized by his painful ordeal and initially didn't want to go near his rescuer - some treats soon changed his mind. The association has filed charges against Bihgo's abuser for violence against an animal and abandonment.

He was taken to 30 Millions d’Amis's shelter, where he will soon be put up for adoption, to help him find a patient, quiet family.
