Thankfully, the good Samaritan hurriedly rushed the snail to the vet in hopes that it could be repaired, instead of leaving him to fend for himself.Once at the veterinarian, the doctors did not take his case lightly, and got to work repairing his broken home. The clinic posted photos of the whole operation on their Facebook page.
After it dried, he carefully tried it on to make sure that it was a perfect fit. The tiny patient seemed relatively pleased with the results of the reconstruction effort, but he will be spending a few more weeks in their care to make sure things go smoothly.The vets placed him in an aquarium with water to keep him from drying out and lots of veggies like lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers.
