Having disappeared for a few days, the dog was finally found by police officer Larry Taylor. Taylor was on his first outing in his new police car when the Pit Bull inadvertently saved herself by jumping into this car...
On the Jacksonville Police Sheriff's Facebook page, he said:
A dog ran and jumped right in when the door was opened and she made herself all comfortable in his passenger seat.
The Pit Bull's family were quickly identified and she's now safe and happy at home! What a clever little girl for knowing exactly who to ask for help!
