Molly, a 7-year-old Poodle-Terrier mix, suffers from a heart conditions that takes the lives of more than half of the dogs who have it, if left untreated. Unfortunately, this was the fate that faced Molly, who was abandoned near Penrith in the United Kingdom.

Miraculously, she was rescued by Cumbria’s Eden Animal Rescue in May 2017, and they decided to give the sweet dog a chance to live and find a family. Staff members from the association launched a campaign to raise money to fund her operation, which cost £3000 (around $4000).After raising a third of the necessary amount, an association called Support Adoption For Pets, the biggest supporter of animal rescue groups in the U.K., agreed to pay for the remaining fees.

Thanks to the determination of her rescuers, Molly went for her operation soon after the money was raised, and completely charmed her foster mom, Jen Ingle, who then adopted her. She told websiteMirror :
I was unable to resist Molly’s loving looks and cuddles. We went through the trauma of the operation together and I spent two nights in a hotel near the animal hospital. Molly can now live a normal life. She’s very special. Yes, £3,000 was a lot to spend on one dog, but just possibly she will make more people aware of our centre.
