In Russia, a raccoon has become the official assistant to a veterinarian. It seems the animal has a real gift for calming stressed and sick dogs who come to the clinic for treatment.

Aleksei Krotov, a vet in Rostov-on-Don, has always dreamed of having a raccoon. With this in mind, when he opened the clinic, he decided to fulfil this dream. That's how he met Yasha.

The animal was living in the Krasnodar area in very bad conditions, when Aleksei and his wife decided to adopt her. After living at their home for a while, he brought her to the clinic.

The doctor quickly noticed that Yasha had a real talent for reassuring stressed and sick dogs that came to the clinic to receive treatment. On the other hand, the cats didn't seem to be the biggest fans.
