Others said that he looked like an Ewok, another cute, furry alien species from the Star Wars.��In any case, Newton is both adorable and the first Brussels Griffon to win Best in Show since 2001, when NBC changed the name of the show from The Kennel Club of Philadelphia Dog Show to The National Dog Show.

Newton beat out a Portuguese Water Dog, a Springer Spaniel, an Old English Sheepdog, a Whippet, a French Bulldog and an American Staffordshire Terrier. The last dog, named Louie, won the terrier class.
