He barely moved when rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimitedcame to help him. They gave him food before wrapping the canine up in a blanket and carrying up the stairs to take him to the sanctuary.

They started by giving him a powder to kill the maggots and wrapping up the wound. By the second day, they were able to clean it out and disinfect it.

After nine weeks of treatment, it was like Jerry had completely transformed. Now he gets all the love and cuddles he deserves. The sweet dog gets to enjoy the rest of his life in peace at the sanctuary.
