Knowing that she did not have much longer to live, Kylie desperately wanted to boost her morale and decided to adopt Eliza, a kitten who had been rescue byAngels Among Us Pet Rescueafter she was found abandoned and emaciated. The NGO's spokesperson said:
We got her healthy and she was waiting on her forever home when we got a very sad call. A beautiful little girl named Kylie had cancer and right when they thought the treatment would be complete and she would be getting better, it came
The teenager wanted to spend her last moments cuddling a kitten to make her happy again. She said that her family did not have the intention of adopting one. "We rushed Dolly (Eliza now) over there on loan, simply to be with Kylie during her final days on earth," continued the shelter.

Kylie's dream came true and the adorable Eliza was at her side for cuddles day and night. Her face simply lit up when she saw the cat for the first time, who lay down in her arms and did not leave her side for the next two days.

As Kylie was going through her chemotherapy sessions, her sisters tried to take care of Eliza, but the kitten kept trying to get away and go back to Kylie's room. "She was completely devoted to loving on Kylie. She had this purpose and it was the most beautiful thing to see," continued Robin.

Kylie asked her family to adopt Eliza after her death, saying she needed this reassurance in order to die in peace. They agreed and today, everyone loves the cat.When Kylie passed away, Eliza became a precious spirit in the house who embodied her human's love and kindness. She would cuddle with Robin every time she heard her crying, supporting her in thie period of mourning.
I've never experienced a pet, particularly a cat that is so in tune to what we need. Kylie told me to take care of Liza but it's also like she whispered to Liza to take care of me.
