Georgina Bradley, a 25-year-old student from Plymouth University, England, adopted a very special dog in August 2015. The young lady was relaxing on the beach during her vacation in Crete, Greece, when two men approached her. They invited Bradley out for a drink, and when she refused, proceeded to grab her arm aggressively.Sensing the danger that she was in, the stray dog didn't hesitate to intervene and started to bark incessantly at the two men to scare them off, and succeeded.

She saved me. She must have noticed something was wrong. When I went back to the apartment she followed me and finally let us stroke her. We had an instant bond. When we left to go to the airport, we looked back and Pepper was running after the car. It was heartbreaking.

A few weeks later, Georgia realized that she couldn't leave behind the dog that had saved her from such a dangerous situation. She decided to fly back to Crete and adopt the dog. She continues:
It was a real risk because we may never have found her again. But when we saw Pepper on the beach, it was the best feeling ever.

Georgia immediately started to make arrangements to take the brave dog, that she named 'Pepper', home with her. The canine was vaccinated, wormed, and then got her very own pet passport, before taking a trip to the vet for a final checkup.It was then that Georgia and her new friend received a big surprise, Pepper was pregnant.

The dog arrived at her new house and made herself at home straight away. Then, one week after her arrival, she gave birth to six adorable puppies. Georgia concludes:
It has been such a crazy journey. But I am over the moon. Pepper has settled in brilliantly.
Pepper protected Georgia when she was in need, and now the young lady has returned the favour and given the special dog a forever home.
