This Adventurous Dog Has The Best Travelling Companion And Their Photos Are Going Viral

Henry the dog loves hiking, which is just as well as his parents, Cynthia Bennett and her boyfriend, are avid hikers. They'd moved to Colorado specifically for its amazing walks and when they decided to add to their family in 2014, they looked for a pup who could cope with going out into the hills every weekend.Although they were originally looking for a golden retriever mix, when Cynthia saw a large, lanky, 'wolf-like' puppy, she knew she had to meet him. She toldThe Dodo:

He just curled up into my lap and went belly up and flipped his head over my arm. And from then, I decided that he was coming home with us.

Happily, Henry took to hiking like a duck to water! Within three days he was out with them, excited by the new sights and smells - and scaring his parents with his adventurous streak:

We call him our little mountain goat. He scares us to death, because he goes up to the highest cliff or the highest rock to climb up and look over it.

Earlier this year, the couple decided to make a feline addition to their little family and found Siamese-mix Baloo. Like with Henry, Cynthia wanted to be able to take the little kitten out into the wilderness with them and planned to start harness training once he got used to his new home.

But Baloo had other ideas and demanded to be taken on adventures as soon as he saw his mom pick up Henry's leash! He adored his 'older brother', snuggling up to him at any opportunity and determined to tag along on adventures.

Now, the two brothers have their own Instagram page, so that people all over the world can follow their walks. They clearly are a photogenic pair with over 166,000 followers!Here are some our our favorite photos of the hardy twosome:
