This Abused Donkey Is Abandoned To Die In The Street From His Injuries After He's No Longer 'Useful'

InRajasthan, India, a donkey was found abandoned in the street, seriously injured. He had likely been worked to the point of exhaustion, and undoubtedly abused.

Thankfully, someone called Animal Aid Unlimitedwho rushed to the animal's side. His legs had opened wounds from rope digging into his skin.The rescuers immediately hurried him to the sanctuary, so they could begin treatment. They started by cutting off the rope which had caused him so much suffering.

Next, they cleaned off his wounds and wrapped them up in lots of gauze. He took the time to truly rest, probably for the first time in his life.

That rest period paid off. It took him about two months, but Lance was able to completely heal.
