This 3-Legged Dog Spent Months Sleeping In A Shoebox Waiting For Help

By

Last February,Hope for Paws, an American animal rescue organization, posted a new video on their YouTubechannel, showing a small dog that had been living in an equally as small cardboard box. They had received a message from a worried neighbour about a handicapped animal sleeping in a shoebox outside of a house in Los Angeles, USA, for around five months. The homeowner said that she had noticed the dog a few weeks earlier, and started to feed her.

When the rescueteam arrived, the little canine was curled up in her tiny, makeshift home, and let them come to her aid her without anyresistance.Volunteers from Hope for Pawsgave the dog a primary assessment,a new collarand a brand new name, 'Princess'.Her rescuers noticed straight away that the poor animal was missing a paw. However the wound was perfectly healed and didn't seem to cause her any pain, as she let the volunteers handle her without so much as a grumble. She was then sent to the shelter for a more in depth examination.

However, the determined little dog decided that she was not going to let this illness beat her. After several weeks of critical treatment, she inspired everyone around her and succeeded.
