A cat from Taranaki, New Zealand had an unlikely best friend. He can't wait to see his mailman human every time he comes past the house, reports The Dodo.

Levi Davis works for the New Zealand Post and clearly delivers some love along with the mail at one particular house. He has seen the same cat every day along his route, who always runs out to greet him.The cat jumps onto his bike, demanding to be petted. David wrote on his Facebook account on September 7:
My little buddy. Everyday I do the mail run this cat comes to see me... Regardless of the weather.

The mailman clearly loves the cat too and is only too happy to oblige his purrs for attention.
