It was a once-in-a-lifetime fishing trip...
Jason Frost and his friend Brandon Key were having a peaceful day on their fishing boat on the Warrior River in Alabama, USA.

Suddenly the men noticed a small ball of orange fur some distance away, quickly swimming towards them.
Dumbfounded, Jason managed to grasp the kitten and pull him up onto the boat. The, as if the situation wasn't already funny enough, a second kitten came drifting along! The fishermen helped him too. Jason explained:
Never in my life have I seen anything like that. Well there's a first time for everything, isn't there?

No-one knows exactly where the kittens came from, nor why they were in the water. But judging by the area in which they were fishing, Jason thinks they might have been dumped by their owner.
These two tiny felines were very lucky that day: the fishermen didn't only save their lives, but also found them a loving adoptive family.
