Pitbulls are often incorrectly labeled as aggressive and 'mean', but Big Boo, a shelter dog from Greenville, Texas proved this to be absolutely wrong when the sweet dog was taken to a shelter on March 31.

He was found as a stray by Greenville Animal Control and initially, the dog was extremely confused and disorientated by his new environment, as is the case with many dogs that end up in shelters.Luckily, Karri McCreary, a veterinarian from Vet Ranchvisited the pitbull and upon seeing how uncomfortable and sad he looked, decided to ease his transition to shelter life by giving him a blue blanket.

With just a small home comfort, Boo relaxed and became an entirely different dog. He transformed from a standoffish character into a playful puppy in front of shelter staff's eyes. She described:
Today I gave a big, tough bully a blanket and a bed. He played with it then he wadded it up and cuddled it. This big boy has been here for weeks and gotten no love. #giveabullyabed #justasnugglebear

McCreary shared a photo of the adorable dog cuddling up to his new blanket on Facebook, and the post was inundated with offers from online fans to adopt the canine.The dog once assumed to be a 'bully', completely blossomed once shown even the slightest affection, and only a few days later, Boo had been adopted.
