It all started when she was waiting with her human at the bus stop because they were headed to the park. He was smoking a cigarette and hadn't finished by the time the bus came.Instead of waiting for him, Eclipse just hopped on the bus without him. She knew exactly when to get off, and he managed to catch up with her at the park.
At the time of her first news feature, her human said:
She's been here the last two years, so she's been urbanized, totally. She's a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog. Probably once a week I get a phone call. 'Hi. I have your dog Eclipse here on 3rd and Bell. I have to tell them, 'no. She's fine.' She knows what she's doing.
But at this point, she's so well known that no one worries. She even has a Facebook page where 15,000 of her fans, the 'Ecliptomaniacs,' can stay updated on her adventures. You can find the page, here.
