The dog was chained to a balcony in Marseille, France, and received regular violence from her owner.In December, the Marseille Court of Appeals increased the punishment of the young man: eight months in prison instead of the six originally given, accompanied by two years probation and a lifetime ban on owning animals.

The affair goes back to October 2015, when a neighbor, shocked by the mistreatment of Ivory, managed to film the man in the middle of a violent episode.
