7 Simple Things You Can Do To Guarantee Your Cat A Long And Happy Life

If like most cats, your feline friend lives in an apartment, you need to take special care to make sure he's a happy cat. Here are7 essential tips formaking sure your kitty is healthy, relaxed and fully satisfied on a daily basis.

1. Give him his own space

It's a well-known fact that cats are very independent and need their personal space. Ideally, you should reserve a fewareas ofyour apartment just for him, making sure he has somewhere to eat, somewhere to sleep and somewhere to play...The mainthingis to notlimit him to just one room. 2. Give him some stimulation

Cats may seem less playful than their canine counterparts, but it's vital that you give them just as much attention. Play, observation and interaction are essential in the life of a cat.Set up a "strategic" observation point for him, such as a pillow by the window for example. And play with him regularly: you could throw balls for him or give him other little toys.
