Stereotypes often have negative connotations. Especially when it comes to certain breeds of dogs. However, at the Holidog Times we’re campaigning for change. We want to banish stereotypes. To think that we used to believe that you could never approach German Shepherds, let alone adopt them! Today we are talking about Pitbulls. Sadly, some still believe that we can live peacefully with these monsters, without running into grave danger. It’s simply not true. Pitbulls are ferrocious beasts, agressive from dawn 'til dusk. They belong in the deepest, darkest jungle. They definitely don’t belong in our homes. Here’s proof in 17 pictures so that you NEVER consider adopting one... 1. Pitbulls will generally bite every living thing they meet.

In reality they aren’t nasty dogs. Nasty dogs don’t exist. Every breed is as dangerous as the next. It all depends on the training, kindness and love they recieve, especially in the first months which are crucial. An emotionally stable dog is never dangerous, regardless of its breed.

Pitbulls suffer as a result of these preconceptions and often struggle to find a loving family to rehome them if they end up in an animal shelter. Try not to dismiss them straight away.

And if you want to reward your Pitbull  for not eating you alive yet, why not give them a HappyBox …;)
